Papers of Orland Emile White [manuscript] 1909-64.

The collection contains miscellaneous papers, 1932-47, of Dr. White, the Director of the Virginia. University. Blandy Experimental Farm. There are also miscellaneous papers, 1961-64, of John Robert Lacey a U. Va. medical student, including lecture notes, including notes on a patient with sickle cell anemia, including lectures or speeches on rehabilitation by Robert D. Wright of the University of Virginia School of Medicine's Dept. of Preventive Medicine and Marlin Ewing. There are also notebooks [n.d.] of P. W. White, containing a few notes of lesson plans for grades one and two. The collection also contains the family record, 1839-1909, of the family of Edgar William Olive compiled in 1909 for a study sponsored by the Committee on Eugenics of the Carnegie Institution of Washington' and the American Breeders' Association.
